Hi Social Apocalypse,

Back in 2006, I'm not so sure the LOs at P.E. had to hold a loan originator license.

Loan originator licensing only started in Washington State during the year 2007 and that was only for companies that held a mortgage broker license.

Here is the WA State DFI search-able database.

Hi Jillayne! Truer words never spoken, RIGHT Paramount Equity???

Question for you: How do I research the status of the state licensing (Specifically Washington State) of our loan officer at the mortgage broker we sadly chose at the TIME OUR LOAN WAS ORIGINATED?

Our loan closed in May of 2006 with Paramount Equity Mortgage, and I am just filling in the final details of our little project we are working on here.

I have been unsuccessful in sleuthing that particular bit out for myself, and trying to save research dollars for later... thanks so much for your GREAT information! Keep it coming!
