Foreclosures

Defaults and foreclosures are on the rise nationwide.  This new four-hour course is the follow up to our popular class on “The Short Sale” and is designed to help mortgage loan originators learn about the Washington State Deed of Trust Act.  In this class, we we will learn about deed of trust foreclosures, their typical procedures, the ways they can be averted, and general legal defenses to them.

Loan Originators and brokers will know how to help home buyers who are in the process of purchasing a home that’s in foreclosure, and how to inform refinance-seeking homeowners who might be headed down this road.

Through the use of lecture, quizzes, case studies, and small-group exercises, mortgage loan originators will gain an understanding of foreclosures and our Washington State Deed of Trust laws.

This class will also provide a review of the new Washington State Distressed Property Law.

This course is also approved for Realtor clock hours in Washington and Idaho through NAMF’s parent company, CE Forward, Inc.
