Title Insurance

In this fun, interactive class, we’ll help you understand title insurance, how land titles are created and transfered, discover good reasons for choosing one type of policy over another, alleviate your questions about what a title insurance policy actually covers, and you’ll come to appreciate how a review of the preliminary title report can help you avoid potential delays at closing.  This class will be helpful for new loan originators as well as for experienced lenders seeking new knowledge about how all parties in a transaction collaborate with their title company to maintain sanity during the transaction. 

This class will also include a discussion about recent state and federal investigations into the title insurance industry.
